Junk Removal in Erie, PA

Junk removal is the service for people who would rather not do the lifting. Our crew arrives with the truck, you point at what goes, and we load it, haul it and dispose of it properly: furniture, mattresses, appliances, hot tubs, garage and basement junk, the contents of a rental unit or a whole house. You get one price on site before we start, and most jobs are done the same day you call.
It is the right choice when the job is more about carrying than about volume, when there is no room for a container, or when you want it gone today.
Furniture, sofas, mattresses and box springs, appliances (with the refrigerant recovered as the law requires), exercise equipment, hot tubs, carpet, fencing, sheds we have taken down, and the general contents of a garage, attic, storage unit or house. TVs, computers and monitors go to an electronics recycler, because Pennsylvania has banned them from the trash since 2013. We sort recyclables and reusable items out on the way, so a working appliance or good furniture does not go in a landfill if there is a better home for it.
Whole-house and estate cleanouts are our most common junk-removal job in Erie. We walk the property with you, agree what stays, and clear the rest room by room: house, garage, basement and shed. For a landlord we can turn a unit around in a day, which matters with the turnover around Gannon, Mercyhurst, Penn State Behrend and PennWest Edinboro. For a family dealing with an estate we work at your pace and set aside anything you want to keep.
If you have a week and a driveway, a dumpster is usually cheaper: you do the loading, we do the hauling. If you want it done in an afternoon, cannot lift the heavy pieces, or have nowhere to put a container, junk removal is the answer, and in the City of Erie it also needs no dumpster approval. Plenty of customers use both: a container for the renovation and a crew for the furniture. Call (814) 679-3372 and we will tell you which suits the job.
- 10 Yard Dumpster (12′ L × 8′ W × 3.5′ H, 1 to 2 tons included): the small-cleanout alternative if you would rather load it yourself
- 20 Yard Dumpster (22′ L × 8′ W × 4′ H, 3 tons included): a whole-house cleanout you want to do at your own pace
Compare all five containers on our dumpster sizes page, or call (814) 679-3372 and we will size it for you.
One flat price, quoted before we deliver, with the weight allowance and any overage rate stated up front.
- How is junk removal priced?By the load. We give you a firm price on site before we touch anything, and that is the price you pay. The quote covers the labour, the hauling and the disposal.
- Can you do it today?Often, yes. Call in the morning and we can usually fit a junk-removal job in the same day across Erie and the nearby townships.
- Do you take appliances with refrigerant?Yes. Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners are handled with the refrigerant recovered by a certified technician before disposal, as federal law requires. The City of Erie’s bulk pickup will not take them.
- What about hazardous items?Oil-based paint, solvents, pesticides, propane cylinders and similar items are not junk removal. Erie County Recycling runs pre-registered household hazardous waste and electronics collection days for county residents (814-451-7326). Dried-out latex paint can go in the regular trash, as PA DEP advises. We will tell you where each item goes.
